Our Women at Vines

At Vines, we’re committed to creating an environment where every employee has the opportunity to succeed. Guided by our values of Positivity, Support, and Integrity, we encourage growth, collaboration, and diversity across every department.

We recognise that a diverse workforce leads to stronger ideas and better solutions in an ever-evolving industry. That’s why we’re proud to challenge the traditional view of the automotive sector as a male-dominated space. By 2025, we aim for at least 30% of our workforce to be women, and we’re actively supporting initiatives to make that happen.

To celebrate this journey, we spoke to some of the incredible women across Vines who shared their stories, achievements, and advice for others considering a career in the motor industry.

Debbie Fisher – Bodyshop Estimator

Debbie supports customers through what can often be a stressful time, managing repairs, insurance, and coordination with technicians. Starting her career by chance, she’s now a highly experienced estimator who loves helping customers leave happy.

Her message to women:
“It can be daunting in a male-dominated role, but women bring a valuable perspective. Don’t be afraid to step in—you’ll be surprised how much you can achieve.”

Ellen Hancock – Service Advisor

Ellen thrives as a Service Advisor at Vines Gatwick, proving that technical roles aren’t just for men. Passionate about cars and engines, she enjoys the daily challenges and the teamwork.

Her message to women:
“Be the change. If you believe in yourself, you can succeed in any environment.”

Leah Jordan – Group HR Business Partner

Leah brings eight years of HR expertise and a passion for people. She supports recruitment, engagement, and development, ensuring colleagues feel valued and supported.

Her message to women:
“Make the jump—you won’t regret it. There are so many opportunities in this industry, and it’s open to everyone.”

Teresa Harris – Senior Service Advisor

With a strong background in customer service, Teresa leads by example at Vines Redhill, supporting both customers and colleagues while embracing leadership opportunities.

Her message to women:
“It’s not a man’s world. This is an exciting industry full of opportunities if you’re ready to take them.”

Elaine Farley – HR Manager

Since 2016, Elaine has shaped HR and training across Vines. She’s passionate about building a supportive culture and challenging perceptions of the automotive industry.

Her message to women:
“You don’t have to act like a man to succeed—just be yourself and challenge the norms.”

Amy Tilbury – Credit Controller

Amy’s career journey has taken her from sales to construction and back into automotive, where she feels most at home.

Her message to women:
“Ignore the stereotypes. This industry is diverse, dynamic, and full of amazing people.”

Monique Limerick – Future Retail Implementation Manager

Monique has spent over a decade at Vines, leading customer service, marketing, and now business transformation projects.
